Welcome to a new episode of "SongSessions". I am your host, David Pomeranz, and this show is where I get the opportunity to sit down and talk shop with some of the Songwriters I admire most.

Today’s guest is someone whom, to me, exemplifies all the best qualities in an Artist - dedication, consummate craft and a way of making people feel deeply with her work which she does better than most anyone I know. She’s had tons of major successes through the years both as a Songwriter and Recording Artist: acclaimed Solo Albums, Number One charted Compositions like, “AIN'T NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY” (made a hit by Helen Reddy), songs in Major Motion Pictures ("THE LAST DRAGON", “THE ADVENTURES OF PIPI LONGSTOCKING” with Misha Segal) TV shows, and stacks of awards. But the real reason I’m excited for this interview is because Harriet happens to know more about the craft of songwriting than almost anyone anywhere, and she's one of the coolest people I know. In fact, whenever she opens her mouth to sing, as you will see throughout the video, I can't help but cry. Suffice to say, the girl gets to me.

She has also written three complete song scores for the Legendary Film Director, HENRY JAGLOM ("GOING SHOPPING" "IRENE IN TIME" and "HOLLYWOOD DREAMS").
