Welcome to a SPECIAL episode of “SongSessions”.

I’ve been so happy to hear from so many of you that you are enjoying my “SongSessions Podcasts! The purpose of these interviews has been to showcase many of the Composers and Lyricists whom, to me, exemplify excellence in the craft of songwriting. These shows are truly a labor of love.

I was fortunate to have been raised on Long Island, New York in a house with two brilliantly artistic parents who exposed me to literally every kind of music there was in the world (ok, maybe not a lot of “Raga”). It was this musical orientation and education that I received during my childhood that served as the driving force behind my decision to dedicate my life to making records and writing songs of my own.

My Dad is now, sadly, gone but I am blessed to be able to say that my Mom is still with us and I thought it would be something special to interview her and get her views on the subject of Songwriting, Records, Theater and Musical trends much in the same way as I discuss these subjects with the Celebrity Writers whose careers and music I admire so.

And so….presenting a Special Edition of “SongSessions” with, BONNIE POMERANZ; Actress, Pianist, Dancer, Singer, Humorist, Film Historian and loving mom to my sister and me who, though some may not know her as a “household name”, was most definitely a household name in our household.
